Confidential Paper Shredding

Data Eliminate paper shredding is carried out in compliance with British Standard BS 8470:2006 Secure Destruction of Confidential Material. This includes security levels, vetting of personnel (to BS 7858:2004), contracts with customers and recycling. All services provided have full auditable waste streams and conform to the Environmental Agency and Government Legislation including the Data Protection Act 1998. The disposal site is covered by 24-hour surveillance cameras and a webcam service for those customers who wish to take a closer look at our operations.

On Site Paper Destruction

Collections can be made on a one off or scheduled basis. The custom built mobile shredding vehicles visit your site/offices, at a predetermined time, and perform on-site the destruction of your confidential waste. Operatives porter the waste to the vehicle where it is weighed and shredded. The shredding machine is fast and efficient, calibrated to shred approximately 1000kgs of paper per hour. On completion of the service a certificate of destruction is issued showing the weight and details of the collection. The shredded waste is then compacted into the rear compartment of the vehicle, locked and transported  to our depot where it is baled and stored.

Off Site Paper Destruction

Collections can be made on an one off or scheduled basis and again our vehicle will visit your site/offices at a predetermined time to collect your confidential waste . Operatives porter the waste to the vehicle where it is securely locked in the rear. After transportation to our depot the waste is shredded and baled, again in complete compliance with BS8470. Operations at the depot can be viewed via a website webcam and all customers are welcome to visit the site anytime.
